Mobile phones are very smart now a days. We know this fact that the charging stops after the phone gets charged 100 percent. Of course our information is absolutely correct. Obviously it happens. But we make certain mistakes every day while charging our phone, which reduces life span of batteries. There are a number of concepts about battery charging that are not quite authentic. Keeping such mistakes continuously eliminates the life of the battery.

1: Hypothesis-We should keep battery fully charged.

We believe, charging the battery after fully discharged boost its life because we charge it less often.

But this is not true. According to a research, if the mobile is connected to the charging point for a long time, then the temperature of mobile and battery becomes high. Because of this, the chemicals used inside the battery run down.

Just do it …

  • Connect the charger as soon as you have the time. Do not wait for the battery to get fully discharged.
  • If your cellphone is heating, stop charging immediately.

2: Hypothesis- It is necessary to charge the battery 100 percent.

Infact no need to do this. It takes a long time to get the battery charged 100 percent. This also increases the pressure on the battery. Do not charge it fully unless necessary. You can discharge and recharge battery first time for calibration purpose. Your phone may provide correct status of the battery after calibration. Thereafter, no need to charge it 100%.

3: Hypothesis- The charger disconnects after charging 100%.

The reality is quite different, After getting fully charged, the software of the phone changes the sign of the battery and the LED light goes off. To keep your phone 100% charged, the charger keeps working and it increases the load on the battery. So if your phone is on charging all night, then be sure, It may start behaving whacky any time.
